Bible Text: 1 Samuel 6, 1 Samuel 7 | Preacher: Ps. Dan Vagg | Many were destroyed when a few wanted to see the ten command and pushed aside the mercy seat of the arch of the covenant. 1 Samuel 6:19-21

When we push aside God’s mercy and focus on the law, we to will be destroyed and not only us but also those that surround us, as we try to live up to a standard that only Jesus reached.

The contrast to this is found in 1 Samuel 7:14
14 The towns from Ekron to Gath that the Philistines had captured from Israel were restored to Israel, and Israel delivered the neighbouring territory from the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
The territory the enemy stole was restored to them and not only them but those that surrounded them because they turned their hearts to the Lord once again and let go.

Be like King David and bring God’s presence to the centre of your life and let it overflow!
