Preacher:
Passage: Psalms 120-Psalms 134, Daniel, Hebrews 12:2
Service Type:
  1. Direction matters.

Non believer are living one way, for salvation there has to be a directional shift.

Psalms 121:1-4
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
The Israelites asked themselves this while they where heading back to Jerusalem, as they turned around an obstacle in their journey they then saw Jerusalem. That's when they had the revelation -
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
 will neither slumber nor sleep.

2.  The frequency of turning to God is important

Jews 3 times a day they prayed

Peter walked on water TOWARDS JESUS.
He started sinking when he turned and looked away from Jesus but the Lord save him when he turned back and focused on Jesus again.

Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
