Passage: Exodus 34:5-26, Mark 12:41-44
Service Type:

We worship a The God that is the same God yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8)
The God of compassion and mercy!
I am slow to anger
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.[c]
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.Exodus 34:6-7

Through Exodus 34:5-25 we can see God's compassion is for us.

We can also learn some key principles of Firstfruits offerings He has set for our blessings, that is further backed up by 'The Widow's Offering' in the New Testament book of Mark 12:41-44

2 celebrations

  1. First crop of wheat bring a first fruit offering - Faith (before the harvest)
  2. Stop and celebrate after the blessing with an offering - Gratitude (after the harvest)

Gratitude and Faith work together. Let’s be people that are not only grateful but also a people that will stir up new faith!
